1.  What is Web Hosting? Do I have to register a Domain Name separately?.     Top
Web Hosting is hosting your web site in a remote server that is connected to the internet 24 hours a day. This way, anyone can view your web site at any time, when connected to the internet. Web Hosting providers like us provide this service to customers for a small fee.

To host your website, you must have your own domain name like already registered with a Domain Registrar. After you register your own domain name, you can signup for a hosting account with us, giving us the name that you already registered. You can register your domain name through any Domain Registrar like Bluetech Solutions.

Once you signup for a hosting account, we will setup your account on our Server, and send you a Welcome E-mail, giving you the name of our Nameservers. You will have to update your domain name information with the nameservers we provide in the Welcome E-mail, by going to the website of your domain registrar. If you register your domain name with us, we will take care of updating the nameservers. After this process is complete, your domain name will automatically start pointing to your account in our server.

With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space, however you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet web address domain name ( and by your own personal e-mail address domain name (

The InterNIC is an independent organization responsible for holding the registration and routing of Internet domain names. Without these people it would be virtually impossible to maintain sanity on the Internet.

9.  Can my domain be accessed with or without the www?     Top
Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. Example: [] or [] is acceptable, whichever you prefer.

10.  How fast and reliable are your support staff?     Top
Our support staff is always ready waiting for any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have.  You will always receive a response to every e-mail you send in or every support ticket you book under 24 hours, if not much sooner.  We know how frustrating it is when it takes forever to receive a response to an e-mail or a support ticket, which is why we make sure all e-mails are responded to within 24 hours. Our Support Ticketing System is located on a different server in a different location, to keep in touch with our customers in the rare case of our main servers becoming unreachable due to any reason.

11.  How long does it take for my account to work?     Top
Your account will be setup by a real live technician and ensure that everything is working properly.  This will always be done within 24 hours.  Once your account is setup you will receive a welcome e-mail giving you very important information on how to start using your account, and different information about your server IP address, username, password, etc.   Please save this e-mail as you will need this to refer back to.  Once the InterNIC announces that your domain name has been registered (or transferred, if applicable), it usually takes about 24 to 72 hours before it is active. All Internet providers must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect the new site's location.  To ensure that you can start uploading your new website as soon as it is setup, you will be able to use your sites IP address to upload to, which will turn into the domain name as soon as it is done making its way through the internet.

12.  Do you accept foreign domain names?     Top
Yes.  We accept any domain with any extension at all for installation. The change of domain name pointing has to be authorised and done by you directly. Most of the registrars have their own Online Domain Control Panel where you can login and change the nameservers to our servers as mentioned in our welcome e-mail.

13.  How can I transfer my files to my website?     Top
We have Full Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002 Support and Server Extensions and you will always be given the option to use FTP (File Transfer Protocol).  Both methods will be setup with your account so you can chose which one you want, whatever will work best for you.  Please be advised that using FTP and Frontpage simultaneously can result in damaging the Frontpage Extensions.

14.  Can I use my account for anything I want?     Top
You can use your account for pretty much everything but you may not under any circumstances use Bluetech Solutions  web site hosting or email accounts to promote material of a sexually explicit or illegal nature or for unsolicited e-mails or spamming.  Please refer to our Usage Agreement for more information.

15.  How does the payment process work?     Top
Your credit card will be processed by our CC Processing Company, You can get more information about them at their web site.  If you decide to cancel your account within the 30 day money back guarantee period, we will gladly refund your account your first month's payment. You just have to go to cancel and follow instructions.

16.  Do I have access to my own SMTP server to send mail?     Top
Yes.  You will be able to use to send all mail through our fast SMTP servers.

17.  Can I upgrade my account?     Top
Yes.  You can upgrade your account at any time.  If you upgrade from an IPless account (Plan 1 &2) to an IP account (Plans 3,4&5) and want to have a static IP, you will have to transfer all your files and databases manually as the IPless account will be deleted and a new IP account will be created.
